Singapore – How is the new PSLE 2015 syllabus going to affect your child? Or is your child ready for the new O-level exam in 2013? Come to our upcoming Open Houses to discover how the British Council teaches creativity and critical thinking through the English language as well as bring out the confident and happy learner in your child.

What's happening

The British Council always believed that a child immersed in an interactive and stimulating environment would be a creative and confident user of the English language. At our open houses this October and November, you can meet with our senior educators, sit in and observe a class to understand how we create such an environment and how we develop students to write creatively, think critically and speak confidently.

Also, keep an eye out for our free parent workshops. Our experienced teachers will give you an insight into the methodology and range of materials used at British Council, and useful tips on how to:

  • assist your child with secondary comprehension skills
  • help your child ace the PSLE 2015 exams
  • guide your child in creative writing
  • encourage and lead your child through the early stages of reading.
