Language and communication skills are essential to succeed in everyday life. That's why it is so important to give your child the opportunity to build their confidence in communicating. The British Council's March 2024 Holiday Camps, which run from 11-15 March for Kindergarten 1 to Primary 2 (ages 5-8), are the ideal opportunity to enhance your child's English language skills, while also helping to develop critical skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, creativity and more.

The British Council in Singapore has developed Holiday Camps that are specifically designed as an opportunity for your child to explore the world beyond English, while developing the 21st century competencies needed for academic and future success. Happy learners get results, so the British Council in Singapore aims to inspire joy in learning English in the classroom and beyond.

During the Holiday Camps, your child will learn an array of skills. These include developing their English vocabulary and grammar on a range of different topics, gaining confidence in writing and communicating in a variety of situations, and developing their world knowledge and intellectual curiosity. The Holiday Camps will also encourage improved creativity and problem-solving skills, through engaging solo and group activities.

Activities your child will participate in include games, crafts and fun exercises, group research projects, hands-on experiments and interactive learning, and presentations. In addition to helping to enhance their English skills, the Holiday Camp will build your child's knowledge of the world around them, and ignite their love of learning.

Holiday Camps at The British Council in Singapore are led by internationally qualified, experienced and professional teachers. By keeping class sizes small, our teachers can provide individual attention and support, ensuring that your child has the best opportunity to thrive. There is also plenty of interaction amongst students, helping to build communication and collaboration skills.
