The Land Surveyors Board (“LSB”) is constituted under the Land Surveyors Act to provide for the registration of surveyors and is the statutory body responsible for:

• setting and maintaining standards for registered surveyors
• regulating and advancing the practice of land surveying in Singapore

Among its various functions, LSB holds examinations to enable potential candidates to qualify for registration as registered surveyors. Candidates whose language of instruction for their professional degree is not English or whose degree has not been taught entirely in English are required to provide evidence of their English language ability before they register in order to be confident that they can participate optimally in the examinations.
