Choose how to take your IELTS test and book online
Once you make your IELTS test booking in Singapore, you can take your IELTS on Computer test at one of our official test centres. All you need is a valid identification document and a bank card or e-wallet to pay online.
What you need to make your IELTS booking in Singapore
1. A valid ID:
- Singaporean / Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) – NRIC or Passport only
- Foreigner – Passport only; it must be valid at the time of booking and on the test day. Please note that Foreign Identification Number (FIN) and any other forms of ID are not accepted.
(*Note: On the day of your IELTS test you need to bring this same ID you used to make your IELTS registration. Please note that only physical ID cards/ passports are allowed. Digital IDs, invalid or expired IDs will not be accepted. Candidates who do not present the correct valid ID, WILL NOT be able to sit for the test.)
2. If you're under 18, your parents will also need to complete the Parent consent for candidates under 18 form. IELTS is not recommended for anyone under 16.
3. A bank card or e-wallet. You can pay online via credit/debit card (Mastercard/Visa only), China Alipay or China WeChat through our online booking system.

- the start time of your IELTS test and the test venue address in Singapore
- your IELTS Speaking Test date

More information about your IELTS test
After you make your IELTS booking you will receive an email with your IELTS Reference Number to access the Test Taker Portal. Please make sure that you have included your email address correctly when you make your IELTS exam booking.
