The British Council was pleased to be the strategic education partner for the Prudential Eye Programme from 2014 – 2016.

Our interactive Creative Education programme engaged with, and inspired, young leaners, higher education students and teachers across the region in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Around 1900 educators attended over 60 workshops in the six participating countries, and students and teachers engaged in artist forums and master classes in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Using selected, age-appropriate works from the Prudential Eye Programme and the British Council Collection, the Creative Education programme promotes creativity through the collaboration of art and English.

Our series of resource packs and discovery sheets is available online to provide a long-term legacy for teachers and students.  The materials feature a wide range of interactive activities that may be adapted for different ages and education contexts, aiming to develop skills such as visual literacy and critical analysis.
