Inside Heatherwick Studio, supported by the British Council and the GREAT Britain campaign, is a major international touring exhibition, curated by Kate Goodwin, Head of Architecture and Drue Heinz Curator, Royal Academy of Arts, London.
British designer and inventor Thomas Heatherwick set up his acclaimed design studio in 1994 with a spirit of discovery and invention at its heart. The exhibition focuses on the unique projects of the London-based practice. It is part of a campaign highlighting an emerging generation of UK based designers and makers.
The Inside Heatherwick Studio exhibition has appeared across the region in Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul and there are exciting plans under discussion for a new exhibition in Japan in 2017.
More information on the exhibitions is available from the British Council Architecture Design Fashion (ADF) department or contact Ria Hawthorn, Project Manager: ria.hawthorn@britishcouncil.org
