This Is Who I Am – previewed at Botanic Gardens’ Trees of the World 2021
British Council’s specially ornamented tree previewed "This Is Who I Am' an upcoming inclusive arts project at the 2021 Botanic Gardens Tress of the World.
This Is Who I Am inclusive arts project will feature autobiographic monologues by disabled and neurodiverse artists from Singapore and the UK that bring together personal stories to raise awareness and further the agenda of access and inclusion.
Launching on 1 March at the National Library Board.
It also tied in with the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Friday 3 December, to raise awareness of the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development.
The tree installation is part of the Botanic Gardens’ Trees of the World 2021 programme, with specially decorated tress adorned with festive lights displayed from December 2021 to 2 January 2022.
