Heath Rose is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Oxford. At Oxford he is the course director for the MSc in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching, and coordinator of the English Medium Instruction Research Group. His research explores the implications of globalization on language teaching and learning, especially in the higher education context. He is author of several books on the topics of language teaching and research methods, and is the series co-editor for the Cambridge Element on Language Teaching. Before moving into academia, Heath trained as a language teacher in Australia and taught in schools and universities in Australia and Japan.
